"The Fluffy Friends program is a meaningful solution to a serious problem. "

Allison Campbell, CEO of Fluffy Friends

Fluffy Friends for Children with Chronic Conditions was founded by a young patient, Allison Campbell. Since her childhood, Allison has had a very strong sense of purpose from her lived experiences and has continuously spearheaded medical initiatives since elementary school. After developing a method to empathize with patients and strengthen the physician-patient relationship to emulate her own, Allison formally started the company in 2019 during college.

Addressing medically induced PTSD, improving patient outcomes, and enhancing physicians' treatment plans and their wellbeing are integral to our reason for being.

Neurological conditions specifically are associated with the greatest risk of PTSD, with reports of clinically significant emotional disturbance in up to 40% of pediatric patients alone.* The Fluffy Friends programme helps to address this emotional turmoil.

My condition has always been at the forefront and centre of who I am, my career, and the values that I hold: to help others and develop methods that will offer comfort and provide improved patient experiences.

I started Fluffy Friends to make a difference in the lives of children with chronic conditions, one fluffy friend at a time.
